| All-Cut Equipment Pty Ltd was founded on 5th February 1973 as a partnership
between Stefan Zbik and Frank Smone.
This partnership lasted approximately eight months with Stefan Zbik buying out Frank Smone. Stefan Zbik learnt his trade at Erlicon, Switzerland. He moved to Australia in 1949 where he worked for Crystalloy - one of the first companies to produce brazed tools in Australia. He stayed there for approximately 20 years until the original owner Frank Colbert passed away. He then started All-Cut Equipment Pty Ltd. All Cut Equipment Pty Ltd was sold to Neil Hamilton of Carb-i-Tool Australia in September 1999 at which time its name was changed to All-Cut Tools Pty Ltd. The company was sold in 2003 to the Booth family, owners of Carmet Pty Ltd with the aim of expanding the family business. |
